The first of these auditing is “Book Auditing”. It has a cousin known as “Coffee-Shop Auditing”: two Scientologists – or a Scientologist and a friend – sit down at a social gathering and start a session. You can find an insane person almost anywhere on this scale if she is totally fixed on the scale, but if you look at her carefully, she will be on one of the lower harmonics of the scale. She falls away from the sane expression and she goes down scale and she only expresses an insane version.

The basic evaluation of "You were sick" or "You were well," these things cannot be practiced in an auditing session. But remember they are perfectly admissible outside of an auditing session if the person isn't your Pc. This doesn't bind a Scientologist up across his whole social activity. When it does, he finds himself rather uncomfortable.
