Single men and determined groups have been the only makers of space in which Man could walk free. Left to the multitude, each inverted with his own selfishness and greed, the affairs of Man do not prosper. Left to an anarchy of nations with no international responsibility, Earth and Mankind cannot prosper.

The basic evaluation of "You were sick" or "You were well," these things cannot be practiced in an auditing session. But remember they are perfectly admissible outside of an auditing session if the person isn't your Pc. This doesn't bind a Scientologist up across his whole social activity. When it does, he finds himself rather uncomfortable.

One must bring about change and be able to handle it. Man is basically good but can act badly. True greatness merely refuses to change in the face of bad actions against one. Why should one change and begin to hate just because others have lost themselves and their own destinies are too cruel for them to face. One must act, one must preserve order and decency, but one need not hate or seek vengeance.

Any fixed idea, is stuck on the time track. Any fixed idea is stuck on the time track. So the number of ideas a person has over which he cannot exercise judgment determines how far out of PT he is. He's that far out of present time to the degree that he has fixed ideas which cannot be altered by his own judgment.

The Art of Remembering and of Forgetting: In Homo sapiens there seems to be a fundamental fear of forgetting. It manifests in the feeling that one must not forget. Thus one hold on to memories and do not complete the cycle. Everything is cluttered. To bring order into an overcrowded mind, one must first create empty space.

An obsessive sense of responsibility that compels you to go everywhere to destroy all bad ideas, all at once and all at the same time, is almost as crazy as not fighting them at all. There is a spectrum between irresponsibility – bad – and total responsibility – bad. In between, there is a mixture of responsibility and irresponsibility. This is a perfectly acceptable attitude.

The most fundamental button man has is help. And that button which can be most easily tampered with or upset or aberrated in man is help. When help is straightened out in an individual, not only does his IQ go up but his freedom, of course, and belief and confidence in himself increase. Help is the button which can be just knocked to pieces or re-established in the individual. That's a tremendously powerful button.

As an individual goes up the tone scale, he is more and more of the dynamics and he is more in each dynamic. You expand your space into the dynamics. You expand your control, your knowledge, and your responsibility into the dynamics.

Understanding how to improve, to use one's intelligence, succeed, handle reactivity
