An obsessive sense of responsibility that compels you to go everywhere to destroy all bad ideas, all at once and all at the same time, is almost as crazy as not fighting them at all. There is a spectrum between irresponsibility – bad – and total responsibility – bad. In between, there is a mixture of responsibility and irresponsibility. This is a perfectly acceptable attitude.

The most fundamental button man has is help. And that button which can be most easily tampered with or upset or aberrated in man is help. When help is straightened out in an individual, not only does his IQ go up but his freedom, of course, and belief and confidence in himself increase. Help is the button which can be just knocked to pieces or re-established in the individual. That's a tremendously powerful button.

The viewpoint of a professional is that the end result of your observation is simplicity, not complexity. The end result is simplicity. A thing is what it is. What's complicated is the world's unwillingness to face anything.

The merchants of fear have lost all ability themselves to create, they cannot work themselves, they must either amass money which is never to be spent or must prevent others from amassing money. They produce nothing, they must steal one way or another, and then devaluate whatever they obtain. They speak very sternly of honesty or ethics and put on a formidable front of complete legality.

If you, the individual, knew the truth and were processed toward the truth, you would be free. Only lies degrade you. This is the lesson of Scientology. The opposition deals with days where we deal with eternity.

As an individual goes up the tone scale, he is more and more of the dynamics and he is more in each dynamic. You expand your space into the dynamics. You expand your control, your knowledge, and your responsibility into the dynamics.

A welfare state requiring no contribution will at length be paid in revolution. A hat "worn" without contributing to the team… will cause an upset and discomfort in oneself, a harmful reaction from others, and reactions within the remainder of the team.
