Introduction: The affinity of an AI remains, in the end, a simulation. It can imitate human closeness, but it cannot experience it. An AI can process data and generate answers. But the understanding of one Thetan by another Thetan is something fundamentally different.

In 1950, when Ron published Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, he wrote that it was a race against time and against the atomic bomb.
To this day, after Hiroshima and Nagasaki, nuclear weapons have probably not been used again in warfare. And hopefully, none will ever be used again.
Now comes artificial intelligence. A tremendous potential. More than a quantum leap.
The Internet already propelled knowledge and access to knowledge into an exponential curve, more than any other innovation in the centuries before it. That alone was a quantum leap.
None of this is really new. These are well-known observations.
I am writing about it because we audit in the Ron's Org, because we can deliver auditing, because we train auditors, and because we enable people to audit and co-audit. We are proud of this – and we have every right to be.
AI will lead many people to believe that it can answer every question and solve every problem. For some, it may become a kind of apparent “all-knowing authority.”
Yet, no matter how powerful AI becomes, it cannot take over a person's spiritual development. It can provide information, but it cannot walk the path of a Thetan.
Only a Thetan can truly understand
Reality is what you see when you switch off your phone.
The affinity of an AI remains, in the end, a simulation. It can imitate human closeness, but it cannot experience it.
An AI can process data and generate answers. But the understanding of one Thetan by another Thetan is something fundamentally different.
People must be careful not to slide down the Reality Scale from one substitute to an even deeper substitute – and become trapped there indefinitely. The ability to confront life can diminish considerably:
no anger, no hatred, no deep emotions
no (sexual) rejection
no pain, no childbirth
no confrontations, no ARC breaks
no problems
no evil, no overts, no crime, and so on
Life itself could become a surrogate, as people will only be able to think through their cell phones and AI.
«Surrogates – My second I» is a 2009 science-fiction action film depicting a world in which people live through artificial substitutes and gradually lose direct contact with reality.
This is a call for auditing.
We will live with AI, and we will be able to use it constructively. But it will not replace life, and it will not replace auditing.
Only a Thetan can audit.
