Any fixed idea, is stuck on the time track. Any fixed idea is stuck on the time track. So the number of ideas a person has over which he cannot exercise judgment determines how far out of PT he is. He's that far out of present time to the degree that he has fixed ideas which cannot be altered by his own judgment.

A spirit seeks to advance, to improve. Each way is blocked. This universe knows only how to decay. Can we escape? Yes, it is possible. We have it in Scientology now. I have found it and charted it. I know exactly how to open the gate. What is the way out? With no excuses, no byroads. Straight out. All the way.

When we consider that a great deal of what we now know with great exactness was already known and lost thousands of years age, we begin to see that we are not dealing with something new when we are dealing with Scientology. It is not something new.

An obsessive sense of responsibility that compels you to go everywhere to destroy all bad ideas, all at once and all at the same time, is almost as crazy as not fighting them at all. There is a spectrum between irresponsibility – bad – and total responsibility – bad. In between, there is a mixture of responsibility and irresponsibility. This is a perfectly acceptable attitude.

Now, there can be chronic tone as a body plus thetan, or there can be chronic tone as a thetan. And chronic tone of body plus thetan can be apparently at enthusiasm, whereas…

A game is composed of freedom, barriers, and purposes. There isn’t any purpose to life at all. You can assign purpose to life, and if you don’t, nobody will. Purpose has to be assigned to life because it is purposeless.

A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where Man is free to rise to greater heights, are the aims of Scientology.

It is probably also the first time in many thousands of years that it is possible to simply say no. Today, we have achieved the level of prosperity that allows us to say no. But does that make "yes-sayers" the losers? There may be a spark of truth in this. I think "yes-sayers" are courageous people. They are people who set off for new horizons. They are the ones who invest in the future – and believe in it.
