Ron Hubbard are learned and successfully applied. It is the place where you become Clear and can get trained to become an Auditor. L. Ron Hubbard is the author of the books and materials of the applied religious philosophy we use: Scientology and Dianetics . We see ourselves more as philosophy and not as church, but with a religious character and have nothing to do with the Church of Scientology. The Ron’s Org was founded in 1984. Max Hauri has run the Ron’s Org Grenchen (formerly Ron’s Org Bern) since 1986. How can you prove to me that the Ron’s Org is not a hidden branch of the Church of Scientology? We are definitely not. Is the Ron's Org a sect? “Sect” is a very negative connoted word nobody wants to be associated with. No, we are not a sect, by no definition. People who know us definitely do not call us a sect, quite the opposite. Is the Ron's Org a church? No, we are not a church but as we are dealing with the spirit and mind and reincarnation so we cannot deny the religious aspects of our work. Is Scientology a church? Please differentiate between the “church of Scientology” and “Scientology, the Philosophy and Technology”. Commonly both are called “Scientology” but it is by far not the same. We clearly dissociate from the church of Scientology. Is Scientology a religion? Yes and No. Yes, we cannot deny that we are dealing with the mind, the thetan, reincarnation and much more such things. Religion has to do with spiritual things. No, because much of what we do, does not appear at all like religion but science and because we are dealing with people and the world in a very down to earth way that factually nobody would consider it a religion. What does Scientology think about the soul? We don’t use the word “soul” or “spirit” because those words have definitions which would be confused with the definition we have for the word “thetan ”. We call you a thetan, you are a thetan, you don’t have one. You are the one who is generating life. A thetan is an immortal being and godlike. Is there a God in Scientology? No, Scientology is atheistic like Buddhism is atheistic, i.e. without any god. Is Scientology brainwashing people? “To brainwash people” is a sever accusation. Of course we say “no” but it is kind of a platitude because a brainwasher will deny that. So to say “No” doesn’t say anything. Ron Hubbard. Isn’t Scientology just a money making machine? We are trained specialists for the mind . Do you know to train a medical doctor costs the state of Switzerland more than CHF 800.000? A highly trained auditor is a specialist of the mind with many years of training. We do not get any support from the state nor from health insurance, in other words we pay our all expenses from our own pocket. But still, Scientology is for everyone and is affordable for all. L. Ron Hubbard was a Science-fiction writer, so isn’t Scientology some sort of Science-fiction? Yes, he was a very successful writer of Science-Fiction, American Western novels and other types of fiction so what? If an applied philosophy or technology works effectively to help people, it should not be judged by someone’s past, and if so, it would be a very biased approach. Does Scientology believe in Karma? In Scientology, you will encounter Cause and Effect from the very beginning. Causing damaging effects makes yourself vulnerable. In Auditing, you are cleaning up past unwanted effects (which have an effect on your future!) and you learn to be causative and just. Probably the best book to get a new understanding of the subject is to read the book “Science of Survival”. If I decide to stop Scientology, how can I be sure to not be harassed to continue? Scientology is working hard to make beings self-determined. With other-determinism you can’t reach this goal. And the more self-determined you are the easier you can say “no”. We believe that every individual has rights and this includes the right to stop doing something, therefore, if you don’t like it, you have the right to leave. What is all about this New Civilization I read again and again? The civilization today is mainly focused on material advantage. Life today, with all the machines, engines, computers and smartphones, etc., is so much easier than it used to be. We know so much about the physical universe and how to utilize it that it is not only a big help but also a threat to the survival of mankind. L. Ron Hubbard postulated “A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where Man is free to rise to greater heights, are the aims of Scientology.” It is huge goal. Scientology has the scientific knowledge about what a spiritual being is, has the tools to make him happy and well, to increase his native abilities and to increase his ability to be successful. Max Hauri says: Let me be open with you. According to official sources, L. Ron Hubbard died on Jan. 24, 1986. I doubt it, because since 1972 things have become complicated, very complicated and much has happened of which we have no idea. It is impossible to go into this here, but let me assure you, a) that I have been very thoroughly involved and I cannot agree with so much that has happened since 1972. I have also left the Church of Scientology because of this.
